Use of the site
You may use this site to read about our roofing work, ask a question, request a free inspection, or price a roof with the online quote tool. Please use the forms honestly and for those ordinary purposes.
Do not try to break the site, overload it, send spam through a form, or use the site for anything unlawful. If someone misuses the site, we may refuse the request or block that use.
Estimates and the online quote tool
Prices, ranges, and monthly figures on this site are estimates. The online quote tool measures a roof from satellite imagery and shows a price range for each package. It is a starting point. The final price is confirmed at a free inspection, and you receive a written estimate before any work starts.
An estimate is not a contract. That includes a price or range on this site, a result from the online quote tool, a ballpark you hear on the phone, and a written estimate. Nothing is binding until you and Oyster Roofing LLC sign a written contract for the work. Until then, either of us can decide not to go ahead.
No warranty on site content
We work to keep this site accurate, but the pages are general information. Photos, guides, package descriptions, and prices can change, and a page can be wrong or out of date. We do not promise that the site is complete, current, or free of errors. Nothing on this website is a warranty for your roof, and it is not a substitute for an inspection and a written estimate.
A workmanship warranty applies only to roofing work we agree to in a signed contract, and only on the terms written in that contract. Our warranty page explains that warranty in plain words.
Limitation of liability
Oyster Roofing LLC is not liable for loss that comes only from using this website or from relying on its general content. That includes a decision you make from a price range before an inspection. If we do roofing work for you, the signed contract for that job is what governs the work.
South Carolina law still applies. This limit does not cover anything that law says a business cannot limit, including personal injury caused by negligence where a limit is not allowed.
Third-party links
Some pages link to other websites, including Google tools we use for maps, roof measurement, and booking an appointment. Those sites belong to other companies. When you leave our site, their terms apply, not ours. We do not control their content and we are not responsible for it. A link is not our endorsement of everything on that site.
Intellectual property
The Oyster Roofing name, the shell logo, our photos, and the text on this site belong to Oyster Roofing LLC or to the people who licensed them to us. You may read the site and share links to our pages. Please do not copy our logo, photos, or page text for your own business, or present them as yours, unless we agree in writing.
Your information and text messages
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect on this site and how we use it, including forms, the online quote tool, calls, and cookies. If you opt in to texts about a roof request, our SMS Terms explain that program. Texting is optional and is never required to get an estimate or to hire us.
Text message consent
These rules cover text messages from Oyster Roofing LLC ("Oyster Roofing") about a roof inspection, an estimate, an appointment, or a job. Checking a box, or telling us yes another way, is how you join. You can still hire us without texts.
Phone numbers are not shared for marketing
Phone numbers collected through SMS consent will not be shared for marketing purposes. We do not sell those numbers, and we do not pass them to another company so they can advertise to you.
What the texts are
- Replies to roof inspection requests.
- Appointment scheduling and reminders, including when we are on the way.
- Estimate and project updates, including your written price and follow-ups on the job.
- Customer care, such as an answer to a question you asked us.
- External conversations.
How often
Message frequency may vary. It follows your request, your appointment, and the work on your roof. The most you will get from this program is up to 5 messages per week.
What you might pay
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier. Oyster Roofing does not add a charge for the texts.
How you opt in
You opt in by checking the text message box on a form on this website. The box starts empty, and we do not check it for you. You can also opt in by telling us on a phone call or in person, or by signing a paper or written consent.
How you opt out
You can reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. To opt out at any time, text STOP. We send one text to confirm, and then this program stops.
