How much does a metal roof cost in Charleston?
The Pearl standing-seam package starts at $52,650 for a typical 1,800 square foot home, or about $473 a month with approved GreenSky financing. Complex roofs and premium colors run higher.
Is metal loud in the rain?
Not over a solid deck with underlayment. It sounds the same as a shingle roof from inside.
Aluminum or steel?
Aluminum on the coast. Inland, 24 or 26 gauge standing-seam steel is a sound, lower-cost option. We spec by exposure, not by habit.
Will an HOA approve metal?
Most Lowcountry communities approve standing seam in approved colors. We handle the submission.
