Every roof we install carries a written workmanship warranty of 10 to 50 years, depending on the package. It covers labor and material. There is no blame game: if something we installed leaks or fails, we do not argue about whose fault it is. We come out and fix it. The one exclusion is acts of God, which are insurance events. And if you sell the house, the warranty goes with it.

What is covered.

Everything about the roof we installed: the shingles or panels, underlayment, flashing, vents, drip edge and every fastener.
Labor and material. If a repair needs new material, we supply it.
Leaks and failures. If water gets in or a part of our roof fails, we find the cause and fix it.
No blame game. No questions about whose fault it was.
You pay nothing during the warranty period. No labor bill and no material bill.

The one exclusion: acts of God.

The warranty covers our work. It does not cover damage from events no roofer controls:

Named storms and hurricanes
Hail
Tornadoes and high wind events
Falling trees and limbs
Fire
Flood
Earthquake

Those are insurance events. Your homeowner's policy is what pays for them. When one hits, call us. We inspect the roof, photograph the damage, write it up for your claim and meet your adjuster on the roof. The claim is yours, and we explain how the process works, step by step.

Transferring it.

If you sell the home, the warranty transfers to the new owner for the rest of its term. Call (843) 284-6333 or email info@oysterroofing.com with the new owner's name and the closing date, and we update the record. A transferable roof warranty is something your listing agent can put in front of buyers.

Call or text (843) 284-6333. Give us the address and tell us what you are seeing. A photo by text helps.
We come out. We get on the roof, find the cause and show you what we found.
We fix it. Covered work costs you nothing.

Repairs: 2 years on the repaired area.

A roof repair carries its own written warranty: 2 years on the area we repaired, labor and material. If that repair leaks or fails in those 2 years, we come back and fix it at no cost. It covers the repaired area, not the rest of the roof. The 10 to 50 year package warranties above cover full roofs we install.

Manufacturer warranties are separate.

Our workmanship warranty covers how the roof was installed and everything we put on it. The manufacturer's warranty covers the product itself. Oyster Roofing is a TAMKO Platinum Contractor, and on our TAMKO shingle roofs we register the TAMKO enhanced manufacturer warranty with TAMKO in your name. On metal, a manufacturer warranty is registered on every Pearl roof, on top of our 50-year workmanship warranty.
